I'm thinking about making this blog private so if you want an invite/password please leave your email address in the comments! I know people steal pictures of babies/kids to use for strange things and I've been getting a lot of visitors from other parts of the world? Not that there is anything wrong with other parts of the world of course but I don't know these people and wonder why they would even be interested in my little blog when they have the whole internets to check out. Anyway if you are friend or family please let me know and I'll hook you up!
I'll feel more comfortable posting some super cute shots when I get that done. So, pictures to come!

Remember that time....
Doug got an infection in his hand that landed him in the hospital for 4 days with a 24/7 antibiotic IV and even some morphine?? Yeah, that was last week. How could I forget?!
He's mostly better now, hand not so swollen but still painful. I'd share a picture of his hand at it's worst in the ER but it's not for the faint of heart. This one is better:

G was well behaved on our visits(note the thumbs up!). Pea looooooved the hospital. Not sure if she knows doctors work there, hahaha. She was interested in everything. Loved the foot pedal sink in his room and the pain scale chart on the wall with the smiley/sad faces. She was obsessed with both. If she wasn't washing her hands she was telling me she was at number 0. Unless she suddenly noticed the onset of a tummyache, then the number would climb to a 1.
Seems like everyone I know is hanging out at the hospital!! My Grandma is there right now, I feel bad I haven't called but it's hard when you aren't sure the best time to call and you don't want to disturb!
My sister just had her tonsils out this very day! I'm so proud of her and so glad she survived! Things were touch and go there for a while(no, the surgery went fine it was the nerves leading up to it!;)
She actually called me today which I was shocked about! She didn't sound as horrible as I thought she would either! It's all uphill from here right ton!?
My Beeeautiful sister:

Always good for a laugh...

And did I ever mention her modeling career?

Hehehe. Don't worry Ton, only you, somebody from NYC and the people of Russia read this thing. Love ya!

So much to say!
Why does it seem I get busier EVERY DAY!? Poor little bloggity blog, I've been neglecting it! Anyway, fun stuff at the end of April/start of May! We did make our trip to NY for the supersecret surprise 40th anniversary party for my parents! They claimed to have no clue and seemed to have fun so mission accomplished!
Had a fun little visit with the family after the stress of getting the party together was over with! The weather was cold and yucky so that kind of made things stink a bit more in addition to pretty much everyone getting sick, but it was fun to be "home"!
(Don't ask!)
Getting there was easier than I imgagined. Gwennie slept most of the way and Pea was awesome. On the way home I was lucky to have my mom there, because Pea started claiming a belly ache. The mandatory just-in-case bag was placed in front of her. Too bad I didn't notice the giant hole in it, because it was used...and used well. YUCK! Cleaning up a mess like that is bad enough but on a plane is 100000x worse! So, like I said my mom came back to Cali with us. That was fun...the weather again...was stinky! We did have one nice day, went wine tasting and got pedicures and ate too much cheese! She did some babysitting for us so Doug and I could go out to a fancy restaurant for a belated anniversary date(7 years?! When did that happen!?) My mom loves to watch our well behaved children.
SO wish family lived closer! May also had kindergarten placement! Pea seems a little more at peace with the school thing now that we've visited. Kindergarten is going to be a big deal because she likes to do her own thing, doesn't like groups or loud noises and is very stubborn. Proof:
Can you spot Penelope at storytime? The last day of preschool was water play day and she had a blast. Then, we had the finale. I took her to a spa to get her nails polished(just painted, although she would have liked getting a foot rub!) for the first time. She LOVED it ("this was just what I needed" actually came out her 4 year old mouth)
I wasn't as sad as I thought I might be about preschool being over with, but I try not to really think about how little she was when she started preschool..... It goes by way too quickly.
And her last day...
Pea was not sad one bit...
SO, that's it for now! I haven't even gotten to mention our new nephew!(congrats steve, steph and Mia!! We love little Maddox so much!)NEED SOME PICTURES please!!
I know you are busy and have some other stressful things going on but I need to see some more of that cutie. And mom, if you are reading this too I know you are holding pictures hostage as well!

stuff and stuff
Ok, so I was going to totally post the worlds cutest pictures on here but our laptop died, TODAY!! I'm so bummed! I NEEEEEEED the laptop for the plane ride on wednesday. I *CANNOT* entertain an almost 5 year old while caring for my crazy almost 6 month old on a cross country flight without the help of a dvd or two. I mean, I guess I might have to, ughh!
Anyway, can't post any cute pics so I uploaded a video off of a sharing site instead. This is Penelope, who said she wanted to go to the preschool talent show. And tell knock knock jokes. She wouldn't tell me what she was going to say, so I was really nervous! I was also nervous that she would freak out in front of the entire audience. I should not have been nervous at all, she did awesome!! She even handled the hecklers!!
Like I was saying, my trip is coming up soon! So much to pack and get together! Kinda freaking out! Very excited to see everyone though!
I use to many exclamation points, I'm aware!

Spring break!
Really enjoying the time Pea has off of school this week! This means I don't have to drive an hour 6 days a week, just 3 for work! woot!
It was finally really nice weather today so we broke out the sundresses! Check this out!

Pea was only 11 weeks in this picture and they don't look EXACTLY alike as they do most of the time but it's still cute. I can't even remember Pea that little!
It's spring!

Pea ONLY makes silly faces now when I pull out the camera, here's a cute one:

So, work is going ok. Gwen is rolling over now and getting fatter. Pea is still a crazyhead. Doug seems to be working a lot but he's doing ok as far as I can tell(Don't see him too much now!) Exciting news is that I bought plane tickets for a trip to NY at the end of April. I'm glad I'm getting to go and show off the babies! Pea hasn't been to NY in 2 years I think(?! I can't even remember!) and Gwen has yet to meet her grandpa gator and cousins and everyone else! I do have to fly there by myself though, so that's super scary! My awesome mom is coming back with me though, so that helps!
